NB: VERY IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION FOLLOWS:
In the best interests of our customers and Bela Interactive
staff, our engineers are trained to carry out their work in a
safe and proper manner. They are instructed to keep in mind the
safety of the building occupants as well as themselves. To assist
us we ask you to inform us of any known hazards our engineers
may encounter on your premises
In particular we need to be aware of any asbestos in the vicinity
of the proposed installation. (Asbestos is likely to be present
in the building if it was built or refurbished between 1950 and
1980.)
· If you are unsure whether there is asbestos on site, we must
ask you to find out before we start work.
· If you have an Asbestos Register, we request that it be checked.
If the area is clear we require a written statement to that effect,
including a copy of the relevant section of the Register.
· If there is asbestos in the area where we are to work, we need
a copy of the Register in order to plan a safe method of work.
· Our engineers are instructed not to disturb asbestos. During
an installation, if our engineers uncover any hidden material
or dust that they suspect may contain asbestos, they will stop
work and will inform the premises site manager.
We would be grateful for your co-operation in order to minimise
any health risks or delay during the installation.
